Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Set aside.
